A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you start.

Practical answers for planning a custom plastic toy project.

Can you develop a plastic toy from our artwork or 3D files?

Yes. Share your original artwork or designs you are authorized to use. Dimensions, multiple views and any 3D files help us review the shape, components and development route.

Which plastic material and forming process should we use?

The choice depends on the shape, rigidity or flexibility, surface finish, intended use and quantity. We review these requirements before recommending a material and suitable forming method; the specification is confirmed per project.

Will we need new molds or tooling?

That depends on the design and manufacturing route. Tooling requirements, costs, approvals, ownership and any reuse arrangements should be reviewed and agreed before work begins.

Can you customize colors, painting, printing and packaging?

Yes. Molded colors, surface painting, printing, brand markings and packaging can be discussed. The appropriate methods depend on the material, geometry and detail size, and are confirmed through samples.

Can a toy include several parts or moving features?

Multi-part construction and movement can be assessed during design review. Connections, clearances, assembly and any performance requirements must be defined and checked on samples before approval.

What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?

Quantity requirements depend on material, tooling, component count, decoration and variants. Timing also depends on development and sample revisions. Send your target quantity and date so we can review a project-specific plan.

Can you support testing for our target market?

Tell us the intended age group, destination market and product use. We will discuss applicable material, small-part, mechanical and labeling requirements, together with any product-specific testing or documentation.

What should we send for an initial quotation?

Send artwork or 3D files, dimensions, material preferences, part or movement requirements, color and decoration references, quantity, packaging needs, destination and target date. Send the information you already have if the concept is still being developed.
